Riverrun Lodge Wedding
Riverrun lodge can be booked as an exclusive venue with or without marquee, depending on your the kind of event you have in mind and proposed numbers of guests. For small numbers the lodge offers a personal and exclusive experience which can be catered for in-house, and we have detailed two options for small celebrations opposite.
For larger weddings we suggest booking a marquee to provide dining space and a dance floor adjacent to the lodge. We work with a number of caterers and wedding coordinators; in particular we recommend that you talk to Sarah Moore at Forte Food or Laura Larsson at Lake Wanaka Weddings.
Every wedding is different and so catering, flowers and other individual choices will need to be discussed with you personally.

The ceremony can take place at the lodge with spectacular views of the Southern Alps. Alternatively you might choose to take a helicopter from the lodge grounds and be married on a mountain overlooking the lake or be whisked away after the ceremony to the mountain top for some stunning photographs while your guests enjoy canapes and champagne.
Guest accommodation
The lodge can accommodate up to 10 overnight guests in five rooms, with exclusive use of the lodge. We request minimum three night stays for lodge weddings and celebrations.
Intimate and Special Occasions
A celebration that offers a personal and exclusive experience, and packages that include most of your costs. Our prices for small weddings such as those listed below include wedding coordination, catering and lodge staff, but do not include flowers, formal wedding cake, alcohol, music, photography or celebrant and registry costs. We request exclusive use of the lodge for three nights for all events, and three nights accommodation is included the following packages.
Intimate Wedding or Private Celebration
Three nights accommodation at Riverrun lodge for up to ten people in five rooms, inclusive of delicious breakfasts each day, evening appetisers and full use of lodge facilities. Included in the lodge package is a private dinner (3 courses, sorbet and cheese board) for ten people (we can take a maximum of 18 people seated at two separate tables or 10 people at one table). Low season NZ$8,970 High season NZ$9,900 inclusive of gst. Additional people up to a maximum of 18 at $125 per person.
Small Elegant Wedding or Celebration
Three nights accommodation at Riverrun lodge for up to ten people in five rooms, inclusive of delicious breakasts each day, evening appetisers and full use of lodge facilities. Selection of savoury and sweet canapes served to up to 30 people. Low season NZ$9,830 High season NZ$11,760 inclusive of gst.
